What is Involved in Setting Up an Employee Recognition Program?
Since recognition is in a sense, rewarding behavior that you wish to sustain, you must first begin by identifying what it is that you want to recognize. The amount of time involved in setting up an employee recognition program can vary and could take anywhere from several days to several months.
A good place is start is by creating a nomination committee, the name of the award, and the qualifications for receiving the award. Ask employees to submit nominations explaining what specific achievements their nominee has accomplished to deserve the award. Then the nomination committee can make the final decision.
Our clients recognize their employees in a variety of ways, both big and small. Some hold monthly ceremonies with great fanfare. Others opt for small quarterly gatherings in a conference room. Others may hold a special lunch for the winner. There is no right or wrong way to recognize employees; we encourage you to do what best reflects your corporate culture.
The Massillon Plaque Company can take much of that burden off you so as not to add to your present work load. It is our goal at The Massillon Plaque Company to provide you with all the assistance you need to quickly and successfully implement your employee recognition program(s).
